Your first visit is a 45-minute Initial Assessment & Treatment. We find out what is wrong, explain it in plain language, and start treatment if it is appropriate, so you leave with a plan rather than just a diagnosis.

Appointment types

  • Initial Assessment & Treatment (First Visit), 45 minutes. For all new patients. History, physical examination and initial treatment.
  • Standard Treatment, 30 minutes. Ongoing treatment sessions once your plan is set.
  • Rehabilitation & Training, 45 minutes. Active rehabilitation and strengthening, including sports-specific movement, injury prevention and post-surgical or sports injury rehab.

What happens at the first visit

  • We ask about your problem, your history and what you want to get back to.
  • We examine the painful area and how you move, and explain what we find.
  • We start treatment where appropriate. Depending on your findings this can include soft tissue therapy, IASTM, dry needling, mobilisation, spinal adjustment, radial shockwave therapy and corrective exercises.
  • You get exercises and advice, and an idea of how many visits to expect.

What to bring

  • Comfortable clothing you can move in. Gym clothes for Rehabilitation & Training.
  • Any scans, reports or referral letters you already have.
  • A list of medications and any relevant medical history.

Fees and health fund rebates

Fees are confirmed when you book, and we are happy to tell you before you do: call or email us. Whether you can claim part of the cost depends on your health fund and your level of extras cover, so check with your fund before your visit.

You can see Dr. Woosang (Jason) Lee, Sports & Exercise Chiropractor, or Dr. Minhyuk (Jordan) Jang. Select a practitioner when you book, or choose any practitioner for the earliest time.
